Low temperatures and high winds did nothing to stop the flow of 22 goals in three matches in Pool A of the women?s field hockey World Cup here Wednesday.

    This fits with Albertsen's Razor #2, which postulates: the more athletic ability and endurance a sport has, the less its players get paid. On the one end of the spectrum is GOLF, which has a bit of athletic ability and zero endurance, yet which pays obscene amounts in cash prizes. On the other end is sports like field hockey and ironman contests, which pay comparative peanuts.
