Thai young gun Kiradech Aphibarnrat shot a dismal 77 to finish in 19th place while teenager Ryo Ishikawa won his eighth career title on Japan's professional tour with a play-off victory at the Fujisankei Classic yesterday.
The 20-year-old Kiradech who was only three strokes behind the leader after three rounds, suffered a quadruple bogey at the par-four 5th hole from which he never really recovered.
Three more bogeys and just the one birdie saw him finish with his wors score of the week, taking home 440,000 baht in prize-money. Kiradech is now ranked 26th on the Japan Tour's order of merit. Ishikawa (70) successfully defended his title by beating Shunsuke Sonoda (67) in the play-off.
