Worawi: Joint Asean World Cup unlikely

It would be difficult for Asean to jointly host the World Cup, Football Association of Thailand president Worawi Makudi said yesterday.
It was reported yesterday that Asean foreign ministers had agreed to propose to the grouping's leadership that the region bids for the 2030 World Cup as a group.
"It is not easy for Asean to host the World Cup," said Worawi, who is a Fifa executive member.
