Striker Sompong Soleb has been banned from playing for the national team for life after he was found guilty of a hit and run and drink-driving.
Striker Sompong Soleb, in yellow, has been banned from playing for the national team for life after he was found guilty of a hit and run and drink-driving.
Sompong, a forward for First Division champions Buriram FC, was arrested near Suvarnabhumi airport early yesterday. He had run away from his car after it collided with another vehicle before officers at Suvarnabhumi police station discovered that he was drunk.
