Sompong says sorry for drink-driving

Striker Sompong Soleb has offered apologies to concerned parties after he was arrested for drink-driving.
The forward was arrested in Samut Prakan on Tuesday and a court sentenced him to a one-month jail term, suspended for two years, and a 5,000 baht fine.
Thailand coach Winfried Schaefer then announced that Sompong would never play for the national side under him again.
