PTT Pattaya Open begins at Dusit Thani today
PATTAYA : The main draw of the PTT Pattaya Open begins today with all the top players in action at the Dusit Thani hotel.
Top seed Vera Zvonareva of Russia knew her first-round opponent yesterday when Thailand's Varatchaya Wongteanchai defeated Japanese Misa Eguchi 6-4, 6-3 in the final qualifying round.
It will be the world No. 218 Thai's first-ever match in the main draw of a WTA event and she knows that she has a mountain to climb against the Russian.
