Thidapa tied for lead after opening 68
Three other golfers join young Thai on top
SAMUT PRAKARN : Despite a final hole bogey, local young gun Thidapa Suwannapura still took a share of lead after shooting a four-under-par 68 in the opening round of the Thailand Ladies Open at the Lakewood Country Club here yesterday.
Thidapa Suwannapura shot five birdies and a bogey on the first day.
The 19-year-old Thai recorded five birdies against a lone bogey at the par-72 and 6,454-yard layout. Joining her at the top of the leaderboard were Koreans Lee Eun-Kyoung, Bae In-Ji and Chihiro Ikeda of the Philippines.
