Woods climbs into contention at Pebble Beach

Tiger Woods, who is seeking his first win on the PGA Tour in over two years, vastly improved his putting in the third round to vault to near the top of the leaderboard at Pebble Beach.

Tiger Woods hits his tee shot on the 11th hole during the third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, California. Woods made a charge up the leaderboard on Saturday with four birdies in five holes to pull within striking distance of leader Charlie Wi at the PGA Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Woods shot a five-under par 67 on the Pebble Beach Golf Links to pull within three shots of South Korean clubhouse leader Charlie Wi at the $6.4 million Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
