Bodin, Jongjit capture men's doubles crown

Unseeded Thais Bodin Issara and Maneepong Jongjit won the men's doubles title at the Indian Open badminton championships when they upset second-seeded Koreans Sung Hyun Ko and Yeon Seong Yoo 21-17, 14-21, 21-14 in the final in New Delhi on Sunday.

But their more famous compatriots Sudket Prapakamol and Saralee Thoungthongkam lost to Indonesian pair Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir 21-16, 12-21, 21-14 in the competitive mixed doubles.

The Indian Open was the last Olympic qualifying event and the two Thai pairs have got tickets to London.

Boonsak Ponsana in the men's singles and Ratchanok Inthanon in the women's singles have also qualified for the London Games based on their world rankings.
