Among three Thai boxers at the 2012 Games, Kaew Pongprayoon was the only medallist when he took silver after his 13-10 defeat against Chinese Zou Shiming in the light-flyweight (49kg) final.

    from the AIBA website :-
"In a decision of March 25, the AIBA Disciplinary Commission suspended Gen. Taweep Jantararoj from any activity at AIBA, Continental, other international and National (Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand, ABAT) levels, for a period of 24 months."

"Furthermore, the Disciplinary Commission considered that the General had shown no sign that he would recognize his wrongdoings. "He has been sanctioned before and did not learn from that; a suspension for 24 months for all boxing activities must be considered as a minimum sanction in his case," the Commission said."

So the general can not even be an "advisor" this year.
