The 2013 North Face 100 Thailand, the second edition of the country's Ultimate Trail Running Challenge, will be held at Khao Yai on Feb 2.
Dubbed the 'Ultra Marathon', the North Face 100 Thailand includes a number of distances: 100km solo, 100km duo, 50km solo, 25km run and 10km run with age and gender categories.
The trail run will take place in Nakhon Ratchasima's Pak Chong near Khao Yai National Park.
The adventurous and hilly trail leads runners through fruit plantations and past temples, combining nature and sport in an adventure run.
The start and finish lines as well as the race headquarters will be at Villa Paradis Hotel, approximately 40km from entry to the national park.
"The North Face 100 is famous worldwide for being a trail running event and we had great feedback from participants in the inaugural event," said Chaiyut Srivikorn, president of Thai Outdoor Sport Co, the organiser of the competition.
"I'm sure that competitors will enjoy the North Face 100 Thailand 2013."
