One of the worst-kept secrets in motor racing was finally made official on Friday when Lewis Hamilton confirmed he was leaving McLaren for Mercedes.
British driver Lewis Hamilton, pictured here on September 20, is to replace Michael Schumacher at Mercedes next season, the Formula One firm has announced, bringing to an end months of speculation about his future at McLaren.
