Schumacher, 43, returned to Formula One in 2010 after a four-year hiatus, but the seven-times world champion has failed to make an impact on the world drivers' championships.

There is no question about that. Schumacher did as much as he could with what he was given. And how many times has mechanical failure taken him out of the competition this year, even when he was likely to have had podium finishes? Schumi is still tops and I hope he finds another seat for next season. I also wonder if Lewis Hamilton is having second thoughts at leaving McLaren for a team that has not been competitive in years.
