Federer relishes being the centre of attention

Roger Federer admits he relishes stealing the spotlight at the ATP Tour Finals, after the world number two enjoyed huge support from the British crowd during his semi-final victory over Andy Murray.

Roger Federer celebrates after beating Andy Murray in their semi-final match on the seventh day of the ATP World Tour Finals on November 11. Federer raised the biggest cheers from the audience as he cruised to a 7-6 (7/5), 6-2 win.

While British number one Murray was supposed to be the home fans' favourite at the season-ending event, it was Federer who raised the biggest cheers from the O2 Arena audience in south-east London on Sunday as the defending champion cruised to a 7-6 (7/5), 6-2 win that set up a final showdown with Novak Djokovic.
