Pressure mounts on Boonlert to quit

TBA chief leads anti-government campaign

The Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) has asked Gen Boonlert Kaewprasit when he will officially step down as the country's amateur boxing chief, according to media reports.

SAT governor Kanokphand Chulakasem said he had formally asked Boonlert about his resignation as president of the Thailand Boxing Association (TBA), the country's governing body of amateur boxing, Manager Online reported.
