Schaefer to rest key players

Thailand coach Winfried Schaefer will field a second-string side against Vietnam in their final group match of the AFF Suzuki Cup tonight although the German insists that he will not allow the opponents to get an easy win.
The match at Rajamangala National stadium kicks off at 8:20pm with the Philippines taking on Myanmar in the other Group A match at Supachalasai stadium at the same time.
Thailand have qualified for the semi-finals with two wins, while Vietnam, who have one point, need a victory to stand any chance of progressing in the biennial Southeast Asian championship.
