Talks again fail to end NHL lockout

Two days of mediated talks between the players union and the owners failed to end the 75-day-old National Hockey League lockout.

The NHL owners and the NHL Players Association met with federal mediators in an attempt to kick-start talks towards a new collective bargaining agreement, but both sides said little or no progress was made.
