Schaefer insists his men can land knockout blow

Thailand want to win and not eke out draw

Thailand will go for a win instead of trying to play for a scoreless draw in the AFF Suzuki Cup semi-final second leg against Malaysia at Supachalasai stadium tomorrow, according to their coach Winfried Schaefer.

Following a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, Thailand need just a 0-0 draw in the home leg to advance to the final on away goals rule.

"We will not play for a draw. We don't want to reach the final with two draws," Schaefer said yesterday.
