Spanish rider Alberto Contador has reached agreement with the International Cycling Union over a hefty fine he was ordered to pay, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) announced on Thursday.

"CAS has been informed of an amicable agreement reached betweeen the UCI and Alberto Contador and has therefore officially concluded arbitration," the court said.
