Chanderpaul joins Derbyshire on two-year deal

West Indies batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul, currently rated the world's number two Test batsman, has joined English county side Derbyshire on a two-year contract, the club have announced.

Chanderpaul has scored over 10,500 runs in 146 Tests at an average of 51.67 and has previously played for Durham, Lancashire and Warwickshire in the English County Championship.
