No horsing around at the Thai Polo Open

BMW Thailand and the B. Grimm Group are organising the final round of the "BMW/B. Grimm Thai Polo Open 2013" to raise funds for HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Chitralada Vocational School Project. It will be held at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club in Pattaya on Jan 19, starting at 4pm.

Hailed as one of the most prestigious events on the local polo calendar, the tournament will feature professional polo players from four talented teams in Asia: Royal Pahang; Ranhill; AXUS; and the host team from Thailand.

The day's activities will kick off at 11.30am with play-offs to decide the first and runner-up places as well as a polo match for children. Later there will be the presentation of the Princess Cup and other prizes and a relaxing cocktail party. Visitors can enjoy various shopping opportunities and games in the sponsors' tents set amid palm trees. There will be pony rides for the kids, music by the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, as well as generous supplies of wine and food at the outstanding buffet lunch.

BMW will be showcasing its latest vehicles for the Thai market, while La Martina will have its polo fashions and equipment on sale. The day will end with a fireworks display at 6pm.
