Stoch wins world ski jump title

Poland's Kamil Stoch won ski jump gold at the Nordic world championships on Thursday but World Cup leader Gregor Schlierenzauer only managed eighth place.

Stoch took the large hill title with 295.8 points as Slovenia's Peter Prevc, the bronze medallist on the small hill, claimed silver on 289.7pts.
