One thing for certain about football is that it can create more passionate debate than any other event around the globe.
And the fur has been flying, particularly in the British press, over the events at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, or rather a single incident - Nani's red card.
For what its worth, Nobby thought it was a yellow card, at worst. It wasn't malicious - more clumsy than anything. It was foolish perhaps and showed poor judgement by the Manchester United player in such an important game.
