Spain's Beatriz Recari beat South Korea's IK Kim in a playoff to win the tournament.

The dimunitive Pornanong, known as "Waen" to friends and family, tied Kim for third in the $1.7 million tournament, at a sun-drenched Aviara Golf Club in Carlsbad, Calif.
The Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University graduate opened the tournament last Thursday with a disappointing 75. Her three-day comeback featured rounds of 68, 69 and 68 before she fell just one shot short of the co-leaders.
She won $90,748 for third place, about 2.68 million baht.
Moriya Jutanugarn shot rounds of 71, 73, 72 and 71 to finish in a tie for 32nd place, worth $14,634, while Thidapa Suwannapura tied for 68th and a purse of $3,644. Numa Gulyanamitta did not make the cut.
