Pinit Ngarmpring and Virach Charnpanich, candidates in the election for president of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), came together yesterday to attack incumbent FAT boss Worawi Makudi.
They alleged that Worawi had delayed the poll to give himself an advantage in getting re-elected.
The election was initially scheduled for Saturday, one day before Worawi's third two-year term expires. But Worawi has since claimed the electoral code must be changed to comply with Fifa's charter so Saturday will now be used for FAT's executives and members to consider the matter.
