Hamilton's dreams of F1 home win damaged

British driver Lewis Hamilton's hopes of his second win in the British Grand Prix looked to have been fatally damaged on Sunday as his left rear tyre deflated in spectacular fashion.

Hamilton's hopes of his second win in the British Grand Prix looked to have been fatally damaged as his left rear tyre deflated in spectacular fashion.

The 28-year-old - world champion in 2008 with McLaren - was leading after starting from pole position when his tyre came apart eight laps into the 52 lap race.
