Russian superstar Maria Sharapova will play an exhibition match in Thailand later this year.
The 26-year-old world No.3, who was forced to withdraw from this month's season-ending WTA Championships in Istanbul due to a right shoulder injury, said that she was recovering well and hoped to return to action in exhibition matches in Mexico and Thailand in December.
"I have unfortunately withdrawn from the WTA Championships this year," said Sharapova on her official website (www. mariasharapova.com).
