Four Thais will take part in next month's Red Bull-Singha Race of Champions Thailand, organisers said yesterday.

In its second year in Thailand, the event will again take place at Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium from Dec 14-15.

Motorcycle great Mick Doohan and Formula One legend Michael Schumacher will return to Bangkok, while Susie Wolff will become the first-ever female driver to compete at the ROC when she partners David Coulthard for Team GB.

Other racers in this year's event include Le Mans legend Tom Kristensen, four-time V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup and newly-crowned World Rally champion Sebastien Ogier.

The Thai quartet are Tin Sritrai, Sandy Stuvik, Nattawut Charoensukawattana and Nattapong Horthongkham.

Tin and Sandy will represent Singha while Nattawut and Nattapong will race for Toyota.

Sandy will make his ROC debut while Nattawut, Tin and Nattapong competed in last year's edition.

Organising committee chairman Ratt Aksharanugraha said that the preparations were going well.

Five-time 500cc motorcycle world champion Doohan will team up with Whincup for Team Australia in the ROC Nations Cup.

Doohan tweeted: "Looking forward to getting back to Bangkok with Jamie Whincup for this year's Race of Champions next month."

Last year, Doohan took three wins and reached the individual quarter-finals before losing to Schumacher.

Schumacher and eight-time Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel won their six consecutive Nations Cup title while France's Romain Grosjean won the individual crown by beating Kristensen in the final.

The Nations Cup will be held on Dec 14 along with a concert and the individual event will take place the following day.
