Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, the top two players in the world, will meet at the Hua Hin World Tennis Invitation event on Dec 28.

Top-ranked Williams and No.2 Azarenka had memorable seasons winning three Grand Slam titles among them.
American Williams won 11 tournaments including the French Open, US Open and season-ending WTA Championships, had a 78-4 record and reclaimed the world's top spot.
One of the most successful players of all time, Williams will make her Hua Hin debut.
Former No.1 Azarenka of Belarus will play in the event for a third straight time. Hua Hin may be an auspicious place for the Belarusian as she went on to win back-to-back titles at the Australian Open in the past two years.
"We are absolutely delighted to welcome the two best players in women's tennis to compete in this year's Hua Hin World Tennis Invitation," said Suwat Liptapanlop, president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand.
They will arrive in Thailand on Dec 27 and take part in activities before the match.
