Thai Premier League champions Buriram United have sold their captain Osmar Ibanez to South Korea's FC Seoul for an undisclosed fee, the Thai club said yesterday.
The Spanish defender, who has just returned from a trial with English Championship side Leicester City, was a key member in the Thunder Castle's success last season when they swept all major domestic competitions - the TPL, FA Cup and League Cup.
The former Racing Santander player joined Buriram United in 2012. FC Seoul were impressed by his performance when the two sides met in the AFC Champions League last season.
Ibanez will replace Brazilian Adilson dos Santos who has been released by the K-League club.
