Kiradech makes halfway cut at Phoenix Open

Kiradech Aphibarnrat made the cut at the Phoenix Open on Friday.

The Thai carded a second-round 71 for joint 15th on 137 and qualified for the weekend at the PGA Tour event.

"I am happy with my rounds because I am not familiar with this kind of green speed," the reigning Asian Tour No.1 said.

The world No.64, who made six birdies, four bogeys and one double bogey, said it was unfortunate for him to suffered a double bogey at the 11th _ his second hole of the round.

"I lost my focus for a while after the double bogey," said Kiradech, who made a chip-in birdie on the last hole.
