Australian Open champion Wawrinka out of Rotterdam

Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka has pulled out of the ATP event in Rotterdam next week with a leg injury, he announced on Tuesday.

"Unfortunately I'm not in the form to compete in Rotterdam," said the Swiss star who helped his country qualify for the Davis Cup quarter-finals with success over Serbia in last weekend's first round tie.

"I hope to be back on court very quickly," added the 28-year-old, who claimed his first Grand Slam when beating Rafael Nadal in Melbourne.
