It’s only two weeks until athletes experience the excitement and adrenalin of a challenging race, which will take place at the Naresuan Army Camp in the beachtown of Cha-am, Phetchaburi, on March 16.

The Amarin Outdoor Unlimited International Triathlon 2014 will take place in Cha-am on March 16.

Set to be one of the largest triathlons in Southeast Asia with an expected attendance of 500 competitors from around the world, the “Amarin Outdoor Unlimited International Triathlon 2014” has two distances to choose from.

The standard race includes a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10.8km run, and the sprint category features a 750m swim, 21km bike and 6.8km run. Both are open to teams of three athletes — one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner — above the age of 18.

There is also a duathlon category, which starts with a 5km run, then a 40km bike and ends with a 10.8km run, and is open to those above the age of 18. The first, second and third place finishers in each age group category will receive a trophy for the
