Russia, Crimea rugby clash ends in improbable draw

Not so much Six Nations as One Nation, Russia played Crimea Saturday in a rugby union match which ended in a draw, the day before a referendum on breaking from Ukraine expected to go in Moscow's favour.

Neither Russia nor Crimea is known for its rugby tradition and few in the crowd at a football stadium in Simferopol, Crimea's capital, seemed to be fans of the game.
