Bangkok Glass defeat Buriram United

Teerathep Winothai scored two goals to help Bangkok Glass to a 3-0 victory over Buriram United yesterday.

Chonburi’s Wanich Jaisaen, centre, in action against BEC Tero yesterday.

Teerathep put his side ahead in the last minute of the first half, following a mistake by Buriram defender Prathum Chuthong.

Buriram, though, controlled most of the game and had several chances from Carmelo Gonzalez, Suchao Nutnum and Jakkraphan Kaewprom.

However, Bangkok Glass added a second goal in the 63rd minute, again through Teerathep. And they added a third in injury time through Suradet Thongchai to seal victory.

Chonburi yesterday took away a point after they managed a 1-1 draw against BEC Tero Sasana.

Away from home, Chonburi scored in the 33rd minute through Wanich Jaisaen and then defended doggedly as BEC Tero searched for the equaliser. Chonlatit Jantakam and Natthaphong Samana were particularly effective, helping to ensure Chonburi took their 1-0 lead into half-time.

However, BEC Tero broke through five minutes after the restart, Daiki Iwamasa scoring with a long shot that took a deflection and beat Chonburi keeper Sinthaweechai Hathairattanakool.

During the four minutes of injury time, BEC Tero's Jaturong Pimkool could have scored the winning goal but was instead penalised for committing a hand-ball.

At Thai-Japan stadium, hosts Bangkok United had to settle for a point after they drew 2-2 against Singhtarua.

Singhtarua went ahead in the 15th minute through Leandro Oliveira, before Wichaya Dechmitr converted a penalty to equalise for Bangkok United in the final minute of the first half.

Shortly after the restart, Bangkok United took the lead thanks to Phaitoon Nontadee but Oliveira scored his second in the 62nd minute to ensure the teams split the points.

At Khao Plong stadium, Chainat and Osotspa drew 1-1.

Osotspa shocked the home fans when they took the lead through Aron da Silva and had the chance to go further ahead in the second half when Apipoo Sunthornpanavej headed the ball over the bar.

Instead, Chainat equalised through Nikola Nikezic after he came on as the substitute.

Chainat had the chance to claim victory when they were awarded a penalty but Sumanya Purisay failed to convert.
