Thai players Budsabakorn Sukapan, Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong and Supamas Sangchan scored a total of 446 at the par-72 Saujana Golf and Country Club.

Supamas, last year’s individual champion, and Budsabakorn shot 74s while Sherman made a 73 in the third and final round.

The title went to South Korea (425) while China (431) and the Philippines (431) were second and third respectively.

Australia, who were without world No.1 Minjee Lee, finished fourth on 435.

The individual title was won by Shi Yuting of China who posted a final 71 for 209.

Taiwan’s Cheng Su-Chia (69) and South Korea’s Lee So-Young (69) finished second and third respectively.

Unfortunately, no Thai players finished in the top 10 in the individual category.

Thailand coach Virada Nirapathpongporn was disappointed by the result and said her players could learn for the unconvincing performance.

“They were off form,” the former LPGA player said.
