The Bueng Platu team and the Bueng Samakki team won at the recent Power Tiller Racing Championships in Khamphaeng Phet.

Bueng Platu from Khamphaeng Phet claimed the title in the open category, while Bueng Samakki from Nakhon Sawan were triumphant in the standard category.
Both teams received the trophies donated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Kamphaeng Phet College of Agriculture and Technology.
The annual event is organised by Siam Kubota to raise awareness among public about the importance of farmers.
This year’s tournament attracted 27 teams from eight provinces and was presided over by Miss Chatporn Rajdussadee, deputy governor of Kamphaeng Phet.
Opart Dhanvarajor, senior executive vice president of Siam Kubota, said the event had been a success and the company was considering expanding the tournament.
"In the near future, Siam Kubota may organise an international competition featuring cham-pions from Thailand and neighbouring countries such as Cambodia," he said.
