Ireland-Sri Lanka cricket ODI washed out

- +

The second one-day international between Ireland and Sri Lanka in Dublin on Thursday was abandoned without a ball bowled due to rain.

Sri Lanka's players pose for a picture as they wait for the rain to stop before the start of the second Ireland v Sri Lanka one-day international cricket match at Clontarf Cricket Club in Dublin, Ireland, on May 8, 2014

Umpires Richard Kettleborough and Richard Smith took the decision after a 2:00pm local time (1300GMT) inspection, ruling the outfield too wet for any play.
