Rayong keep hopes of avoiding relegation alive by edging fellow strugglers Samut Songkhram

BEC Tero Sasana moved to top of the Thai Premier League and continued their unbeaten run yesterday when they held Buriram United to a 1-1 draw.

In an entertaining match, Samuel Ajayi gave Samut Songkhram the lead after 12 minutes only for Rayong to score three times through Natthapol Vorathanyanand (14), Amadou Ouattara (42) and Yves Hadley (61).

At Ratchaburi Stadium, Ratchaburi lost 3-1 to Chonburi.

Thiago Cunha opened the scoring for the Sharks just before half-time only for Heberty Fernandes to equalise moments later.

Two second-half goals from Anderson dos Santos and Juliano Mineiro finished off the Dragons.

Chiang Rai could only get a scoreless draw with Singhtarua.
