Run, bike, swim — do it in Hua Hin

Black Mountain Water Park is once again the venue for “Queen’s Cup Toyota Hua Hin International Triathlon 2014”, where the strongest triathlete will be awarded trophy from Her Majesty the Queen.

The sixth 'Queen's Cup Toyota Hua Hin International Triathlon 2014' will take place on Aug 10.

The sixth annual event will take place on Aug 10 in celebration of Her Majesty’s 82th birthday. It is open to men and women aged 18 or older. Participants can enter individually or in teams of three.

The triathlon will be the Olympic standard distance of 55.6km, consisting 1.6km swimming, 43km cycling and 11km running.

There is also duathlon open to individual men and women who will run for 5.5km, cycle for 43km then run again for 11km.

Winners of the individual triathlon will receive a trophy from HM the Queen and a cash prize of 6,000 baht. Four runners up will also receive a trophy and prize money. Every racer who makes it to the finish line will receive a medal.

Registration fee is 1,800 baht for individual triathlon and duathlon, and 2,300 baht for team triathlon.

Black Mountain Water Park is located in Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
