Thongchai Jaidee and Kiradech Aphibarnrat will play in this week's Nedbank Challenge in Sun City, South Africa.

The US$6.5 million tournament, which is the European Tour's 2015 season-opening event, has only 30 players.

In the 2014 season, Thongchai won in Sweden for his sixth European Tour title and finished 22nd on the money list with €1,545,786 after 26 tournaments.

World No.44 Thongchai was ninth in Sun City last year.

Reigning Asian Tour No.1 Kiradech, who will be managed by IMG next year, was 145th in the 2014 Race to Dubai with €130,582 from 13 tournaments.

Both Kiradech, 25, and Thongchai, 45, were well-prepared for the tournament, having taken a one-week break before flying to South Africa.

In Japan, Prayad Marksaeng will play in the Japan Golf Tour's season-ending Japan Series in Tokyo this week.

Ranked 26th on the money list, the 47-year-old will be vying for his fifth title on the tour in the 30-player field at Yomiuri Country Club.

Meanwhile, Thanyakorn Khrongpha finished 59th on the money list in his debut season in Japan and retained his tour card for next season.
