Buriram face Seongnam today

Buriram United are confident that they will get a result at South Korea's Seongnam in the AFC Champions League today.

Buriram coach Alexandre Gama, left, talks to his players.

After four games in Group F, Buriram and Seongnam each have seven points while Guangzhou R&F and Gamba Osaka each have four.

The top two teams of each group advance to the next round.

Buriram coach Alexandre Gama told yesterday's press conference that his team had a high chance of getting a result against the Koreans.

Buriram defeated Seongnam at I-Mobile Stadium in their home leg and Gama has never lost to the team.

"I know South Korea and Seongnam very well," said the Brazilian.

"I have never lost to Seongnam since I was coach at [South Korean club] Gyeongnam. We believe we will qualify for the next round."

Seongnam coach Kim Hak-Bum said his team would do everything to beat Buriram.

"It will be an important game and we are ready to play for a win,'' he said.

In Sydney, defending champions Western Sydney are on the brink of elimination after conceding two second-half goals yesterday in a 2-1 loss to Japan's Kashima Antlers, including Mu Kanazaki's stoppage-time winner.

At a rain-soaked Parramatta Stadium, Nikita Rukavytsya gave the Wanderers the lead in the 24th minute when he capitalised on a defensive mistake.

The Wanderers held onto a 1-0 half-time lead after missing two further chances to extend the margin but Kashima dominated after the break, with striker Shoma Doi equalising in the 66th and Kanazaki sealing the victory.

The Wanderers, with five points from five matches, must beat group leaders and 2013 champion Guangzhou Evergrande on May 5 to have any chance of advancing.
