Newly-crowned English Premier League champions Chelsea and rivals Liverpool will play in Thailand on May 30 and July 14 respectively.
Chelsea will face a Thailand All-Stars side in an exhibition game called Singha Chelsea FC Celebration Match at Bangkok's Rajamangala National Stadium on May 30, six days after their last EPL match of the season against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge.
Singha Corporation has been a partner of Chelsea since 2010.
It will be the Blues' second visit to Thailand in three years. They last came here in 2013 after Jose Mourinho was appointed Chelsea manager for a second time.
"Mourinho was extremely happy with the Thai fans when he led the squad to visit the country in 2013,'' an organiser said.
Mourinho has verbally agreed a two-year extension to his current contract, according to reports in the British media yesterday.
Mourinho, 52, returned to Chelsea in 2013 on a four-year contract and this season has led the club to the Premier League title — their first since 2010 — and the League Cup.
During his first spell at Stamford Bridge, between 2004 and 2007, he won two league titles, in 2005 and 2006, as well as two League Cups and one FA Cup.
Mourinho is already the best-paid manager in England, with a reported annual salary of £8.4 million (US$12.75 million, €11.4 million), and British tabloid The Sun reported that his new deal would be worth around £10.5 million per year.
Singha, whose current contract with Chelsea lasts until 2017, plans a lot of activities during Chelsea's visit.
Liverpool will visit Thailand for a sixth time, the last in 2013.
Thailand was chosen ahead of Vietnam, organisers said.
"After a Macau trip was cancelled, we picked Thailand ahead of Vietnam because there is a great fan base here,'' said an organiser.
After Thailand, Liverpool will play Australian clubs Brisbane Roar (July 17) and Adelaide United (July 20) and in Malaysia (July 24).
