BAD GASTEIN (AUSTRIA) - Former US Open champion Samantha Stosur came from a set down to win the Bad Gastein WTA Open on Sunday with a 3-6, 7-6 (7/3), 6-2 triumph over Italian Karin Knapp.

The 31-year-old Australian triumphed over Knapp who was playing her second match of the day after defeating compatriot and number one seed Sara Errani 7-6 (7/4), 4-6, 7-5 in the semi-finals.
That match had been held over since Saturday because of rain.
