South Africa beat Sri Lanka by eight wickets in World T20

NEW DELHI - Opener Hashim Amla's half century helped South Africa beat defending champions Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the last group match of the World Twenty20 in New Delhi on Monday.

Amla's unbeaten 56 guided his team to victory with 14 bowls remaining in the Proteas innings, after Sri Lanka was bundled out for 120 all out in 20 overs.

Both teams have already bowed out of the event.
