SYDNEY - Australia's dual Olympic shooting champion Michael Diamond has been charged with drink-driving and firearms offences, jeopardising his chances of a seventh Games at Rio this year, reports said Monday.

The 44-year-old, a trap shooting gold medallist at the Atlanta and Sydney Olympics, was arrested following an alleged domestic incident with a relative at Nelson Bay, north of Sydney, on Saturday.
"The man was arrested after refusing to undergo a roadside breath test," police said in a statement, adding that a search of his car allegedly found a shotgun and 150 rounds of ammunition.
The man was widely named as Diamond, including by the Sydney Daily Telegraph on its front page.
"I've been told not to say anything," Diamond told the newspaper.
He was charged with high range drink-driving, not keeping a firearm safe and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.
The man was bailed to appear in court next month and his firearms and driving licences were suspended.
Diamond is aiming to compete at his seventh consecutive Olympic Games in Brazil. The Australian Olympic Committee is yet to announce the country's two entries in the men's trap team, but Diamond was expected to be one of them.
