PARIS - France's former Davis Cup captain Arnaud Clement has reached an out-of-court settlement with the French Tennis Federation (FFT), who sacked him last September.

Clement had sued the FFT for 1.5 million euros ($1.7 million) following his sacking but the federation said on Saturday that an agreement between the two parties has been reached.
"The FFT and Arnaud Clement announce they have reached an agreement on the differences between them following the end of his captaincy of the French Davis Cup team," said an FFT statement.
Clement was fired and replaced by former French Open winner Yannick Noah as French captain.
