Transporters to step up protest

Transporters will step up their protest now the government has insisted on raising the price of natural gas for vehicles (NGV) as planned, Land Transport Federation of Thailand (LTFT) chairman Yoo Chienyuenyongpong said.

He said the protesters would block one or two more lanes of the out-bound Vibhavadi-Rangsit road with trucks and city buses operating under a Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) franchise, in addition to blocking the frontage lane in front of the Energy Ministry and PTT head office.

Trucks would also be used to block off three main PTT NGV distribution stations it Saraburi, Sam Khok district of Pathum Thani, and Nam Phong district of Khon Kaen.

    Why neec to delay the price increase of NGV and LPG. The price increase information have be told a couples years ago. They should flutuate according to market rate. Let those lazy people starve and without mercy to them.

    Careful boy's The government will call out the motorcycle taxi boys, to come and start touble, otherwise they might not get their credit cards and soft loans, for sitting around street corners, rather than do a decent days work! Go for it on all fuel prices, PTT are raking the profit from every drivers pocket,The other fuel companies aren't worth filling at except in Bangkok.
