Kittiratt gives short respite on NGV price

The government will raise the price of natural gas for vehicles (NGV) just one time, on Jan 16, pending further talks with transport operators, Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic affairs Kittiratt Na-Ranong said on Monday afternoon.

"The plan to raise the NGV price by 0.50 baht a kilogramme [on Jan 16] is still on, but after a week or two the government and the transport sector will meet again to jointly consider whether the price should be increased in the second or third time," Mr Kittiratt said.

I would like the PB do have a poll about this topic: How many times has a Taxie Driver refused to service you? Maybe if they have to pay more for their LPG they will think twice before they say NO to a customer. From what I can see they make too much money so it makes them lazy to work.
