Sukumpol denies chief faces the axe

Transport Minister ACM Sukumpol Suwanatat has dispelled rumours that Thai Airways president Piyasvasti Amranand is facing the axe.

Piyasvasti: Admits to staff complaints

The minister said he is in no position to remove Mr Piyasvasti as THAI president, as that power rests with the airline board.

    Why have none of the employees involved with crime been brought to justice?

    The minister denied Mr Piyasvasti was under fire for being close to the opposition Democrat Party. If he wanted to get rid of Mr Piyasvasti for that reason, he would have done so long ago.


    I'm confused , Mr Minister you just gave the excuse you cannot remove him , now you say you can, maybe you are the problem.
